Kinnaur district is one of the twelve administrative districts of the state of Himachal Pradesh in northern India.Known for its many beautiful temples and monasteries, this town is also famed for its apple orchards. Distance from Shimla is 235 km this district . Zanskar, Greater Himalaya and Dhauladhar are the three high mountains here. Sutlej is the main river of Kinnaur and Spiti, Bsp are its tributaries. All the valleys are very beautiful. The valley is covered with dense forests, orchards, fields and beautiful villages. The religious Shivalinga is situated on the peak of Mount Kinnar Kailash. We will cover very beautiful places like sarahan , Sangla , Kalpa , Chhitkul which is also known last village of India .

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Pickup Shimla- Sarahan- Sangla (220 kms 7/8 Hrs)

  On Arrival pick up from Shimla railway station drive to sarahan Set against a backdrop of beautiful pine trees and stately Deodars, Sarahan is a nature lover’s paradise. Yes, this statement you can apply for most settlements in the captivating Himalayas. However, each locale is often unique. With wildflowers all around, multiple guzzling streams, and the contrast of apple orchards against the snow-clad peaks, Sarahan is truly a place that becomes an often repeat visit.
  In fact, Sarahan is the home to Jujurana, a rare and protected bird – the state bird of Himachal Pradesh. Combine that with the relatively easier and pliable route – you’ll often find yourself daydreaming of the quaint place. Dinner and night stay in sangla .

• Day 2 : Sangla - Chitkul and night saty at kalpa (60 kms 5/6 hrs Drive)

  After breakfast checkout from the hotel and move to sangla and chitkul sightseeing , on the way sightseeing of places like, Karcham, Sangla valley, Baspa valley river, hydroelectric project. Arrive magnificent Sangla valley in the move to Chitkul. Go through a gradual climb along the Baspa River to reach High altitude pastures of Chitkul at 10,000 – 12000 ft. Surrounded by mountains, the site is a paradise to be in and its peace and tranquility adds to its beauty this is one of the most beautiful valleys in the Himalayas and is often compared to the famous valley of Kashmir. Known for its rich Kinnauri culture and apple orchards, this valley was opened for tourists only in 1993 for its close proximity to the Tibetan border. Kalpa is one of the biggest and beautiful village of Kinnaur districts; Kalpa is a town with a history of ancient temples. The Sutlej River below hurtles through deep gorges; the winding mountain road is bordered by chilgoza forests. Enjoy one of the best views in the world, o/n stay and dinner at hotel.
