Climate & Geography
The climate of Egypt is varied throughout its territory. The country sees rainfall primarily during the winter. While the rainfall measures up to 410 mm on the coast at the north, it is very rare and in-between the years. Then again, Sinai’s mountains witness snowfall. The summer temperatures average between 80 and 90 degrees F (26.7 and 32.2 degrees Celsius) and 109 degrees F (43 degrees C). The winter temperatures on the other hand average between 55 and 70 degrees F (13 and 21 degrees C).
Egypt is surrounded by the Gaza Strip and Israel towards its northeast, the Mediterranean Sea towards its north, Sudan to its south, Libya to its west and the Red Sea to its East. It lies between the latitudes 22 degrees and 32 degrees N and longitudes 24 degrees and 36 degrees E.

The transportation of Egypt follows a structure centered at Cairo. The railways are the primary means of transport. The waterways, roadways and the airways are also effective means to travel in Egypt.
